La chanson qui suit a été composée en 1923 par deux grands noms de la chanson française : Vincent Scotto et Lucien Boyer. Le sujet était alors brûlant d'actualité, quelques mois après la Marche sur Rome qui a porté Benito Mussolini au pouvoir en Italie. Alors que le fascisme s'instaure dans la Péninsule ces deux auteurs n'hésitent pas à dénoncer avec humour la dictature fasciste [prononcer "fassiste"]. Il n'existe malheureusement aucune version de ce chant sur l'ensemble du réseau mondial internet. C'est pourquoi le Docteur Merlin a décidé de tirer de l'oubli cette magistrale oeuvre antifasciste pour poursuivre le combat. Car le ventre est fécond d'où la bête immonde, tout ça... Voilà pour l'histoire et pour la musique. Participatif, car les paroles sont intégrées à la vidéo et chacun chez soit peu reprendre en coeur [L'auteur tient à remercier toutes les personnes participant à la vidéo par ordre d'apparition Lucien Boyer, Vincent Scotto, Docteur Merlin, Tintin, Kawaii, Tom Cruise, Kate Beckinsale, Rodin, Othello, l'homme au couteau (qui souhaite, Benito Mussolini et sa famille, Les mères et leurs petits enfants blonds, le petit Arditi et la Xe Decima MAS]. Viva Mussolini (paroles : Jean Boyer ; musique : Vincent Scotto) Voulant visiter l'Italie Je débarque au pays du bonheur A peine à l'hôtel je supplie Je veux une chambre je meure de sommeil. Le patron me dit : « Faudra coucher dehors Je n'ai plus de place même dans le corridor » Au lieu de discuter je me m'y a lui chanter : « Viva Mussolini, C'est le plus homme Qu'il y ait à Rome ; Apportez du Chianti : Nous allons boire à sa santé » Alors aussitôt le patron de l'hôtel Me glissa d'un air confidentiel : « Vous coucherez dans mon lit Viva Mussolini ! » Je rentre (?) dans un restaurant de Florence On sert des raviolis mais stupeur : Je dus faire de la rouspétance Car il n'y avait pas de viande à l'intérieur Le garçon me fait : « Si vous n'êtes pas contents Allez bouffer dans un autre restaurant » Oui mais pour le calmer je me mis à fredonner : « Viva Mussolini, C'est le grand homme Qu'il y ait à Rome Ah ! s'il était ici il m'garnirait mes raviolis !» Alors le garçon me les repris ; Me les rapporta, puis il me dit : « Je vous les ai rempli Viva Mussolini ! » A Naples je fis la conquête D'une brune au regard de velours Après un charmant tête à tête Elle voulu bien couronner mon amour Mais son mari, jaloux comme Othello, Entra soudain armé d'un grand couteau Il allait me zigouiller Mais je me mis à lui crier : « Viva Mussolini C'est le plus grand homme Qu'il y ait à Rome ! Voyez nous avons mis Sa photo sur la table de nuit » Transformé le jaloux en braça ?, Il me dit : « Vous ne partirez pas j'ai une chambre d'ami Viva Mussolini ! ». Enfin l'Italie est prospère Tout va bien grâce jusqu'à son dictateur Et chose plus extraordinaire Tout les enfants viennent au monde sans douleur Quand une bourgeoise est sur le point d'être maman La sage femme arrive et simplement Pour faire venir le lardon Elle chante devant sa prison : « Viva Mussolini C'est le plus grand homme Qu'il y ait à Rome » Et le petit arditi Par la lucarne lui sourit On n'a plus alors qu'à lui montrer La chemise noire qu'on vient de lui préparer Il sort et pousse un cri : « Viva Mussolini ! » |
