Me playing Victor Wooten's bass solo Norwegian Wood. The piece is written for a tenor bass but in the video I play it on a standard tuned bass. Hope you guys enjoy. Comment please.

Yeah thanks for the comment. My tempo was all over the place and it doesn't groove very well. I had seen Vic play it on youtube about a couple weeks before I made this video so I was really rushing to learn it and put it up (probably not the best thing to do). Nice to get a comment from a fellow drummer.

Drawk, this is great advice. I have found myself after over 3 years of playing lacking the timing created by metronome practice. Great technique though. I wish I could tap like that.

Good job dude.....
When I met Vic 2 years ago he told me that "people learn to crawl before they walk and then they learn to walk before they learn to run right?....so thats how it is to learn a instrument." I got more mature in my music playing by following his advice
Remember always work with a metronome and learn the simple stuff first! because the bass and drums(Im a drummer) is not just flash but their main job is to keep time and to make people feel good

Yeah I agree. This is actually my brother's starter bass, he has a nicer one but doesn't let me use it lol. The camera also wasn't that great so it didn't pick up the sound as well as I would have liked it to.
