Description: On Aug. 3, 2007, the Hi-Rise residence of U.S. Sen. Barbara "Pro Surge" Mikulski (D-MD), in Baltimore, was again picketed by Peace demonstrators. This is the ninth consecutive Friday afternoon, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, that they have done so. The Peace advocates oppose the illegal, immoral and unjust Iraqi War and Sen. Mikulski's role in continuing to fund it. This video features in order of their appearance: Maria Allwine, Mark Chalkey, Dr. Larry Egbert, Dean Pappas and Jay Gillen. The protesters' "Bearing Witness" at Sen. Mikulski's residence against her complicity in the Bush-Cheney Gang's War Machine began on June 8, 2007. As of today's date, 3,664 U.S. troops have died in Iraq, 68 of them from the state of Maryland. Since the Democrats took control of the Congress, in Jan., 2007, about 661 U.S. troops have been killed in the Iraqi conflict.
