brobonele89 ::: Favorites  2007-08-02 16:20:59 stop feeling so offended!! this is a beautiful and rewarding sport!! all the latin dances have indeed latin origins..even the samba..they don't dance the original and traditional samba..but the music and some of the hip movements are indeed of brazilian origin. that's why it is called samba..and so is the jive..some say they feel offended by it because it's not a latin dance..well it is..also because of its origins..so just enjoy the show..it's worth it.. __________________________________________________

Yes thats not original samba guys its the ballroom one.The ballroom samba has been modified a little since 2001 by the best dancers in Brasil and they accepted that as being the way you dance it on ballroom competitions so stop bitching about it. __________________________________________________
