I take it you my 4 part rant of 2 months ago Kardentyrell. The savings in NOT fighting this war would more than make up for the damage it causes and it would finaly be a controlled substance. It would cost less than $1billion, in australia population 20 million, to treat it as a health health problem. This is only a small portion of the $20 billion we spend now trying. The $19 billion we save can go towards the betterment of our citizens lives.

remember the moment the drugs can be legalised and taxed, more money can be put in to help the addicts recover. Addiction is addiction, it's a healthcare issue. Alcohol is more addictive, and more damaging then marihuana. The criminal underworld would have less control over their profits too, when the government is directly involved

Mike is very brave for stating this in public. I whole heartedly agree with him. Pot is way less harmful then alcohol. There is nothing about drug enforcement in the constitution, and this should be a state regulation, not a government regulation. Vote for Ron Paul to get our freedom back!!

Why do people call marijuana "dope"? It's not dope. Dope is cocaine, crack and heroine. Marijuana is herb. It's a plant. Dope is processed drugs. The 2007 Drug Policy Reform Conference will be in New Orleans, LA from Dec 5-8 2007. Be there and help end the failed war on drugs. Let the police officers focus on violent crimes. Drugs is a public health issue.

As for who I stand up for, it Mike Gravel. He is correct with what he says and what he says will come to pass, it needs to or we as a nation will fall. Our leaders are to easily blown around by the lobbiest and big money, they forgot who "We the People" were because we let them. Sorry boys, they had a cure for this is France and they know that in Washingon, that is why the Capital is clamped down tight as can be at all times. Not for the out side sources it is against its own people.
